Well, I guess it is kind of a broom cupboard.

Shoutout to my friend Erin! She’s currently running a Kickstarter campaign to print
volume two of Next Town Over, her wonderful frontier fantasy webcomic. Working with Erin on the Poor Wayfaring Strangers anthology earlier this year was a delight, and I just cannot recommend her work enough.

  1. What kind of person would he be? As a first impression, it certainly helps to showel egance. (Yes, I made a sentence just for a terrible pun. I’ll show myself out.)

By the way, is that an inner garden? Possibly with a glass roof? The blueness and the lack of the redness of the sandstorm is quite distinct from the previous pages. (Or has that much time passed, along with the storm?)

  2. Is that a heron-bird behind the window in the first panel?…
Also: please don’t kill Galak 🙁

  3. … and it turns out he’s the paranoid/practical kind.

  4. Never leave a shovel handy when you let a prisoner into your potting shed, it’s just tacky and you may end up with a rude surprise if you’re not careful. 😛
