A smart person would have reused the backgrounds from the last page, but not me. I am industrious/stupid. Stupidrious.

I thought this page might be later than the last few since I ended up spending a big chunk of time I would normally spend on the page doing a random painting instead. Turns out that wasn’t the case at all, and in addition there’s a new vote incentive now, finally. Not that the inks for page 42 weren’t thrilling and all, but I expect they were starting to go a bit moldy.

I was looking at a lot of really cool black and white photography yesterday, and ended up working along those lines for the new incentive. I’m not sure why it didn’t occur to me before, old school photography is exactly the kind of tech that would be kicking around Ashul. The painting itself is a picture of Adrianna about eight years before the start of Red Moon Rising.
