  1. Love it. I like the lighting style you use.

  2. Erm, yeah, Saiamar, about that…

  3. You know what, if a man put that much love and effort into raising me, I’d let him call himself my dad, even if he wasn’t my sire.

    But really.
    ALL THE FREAKING FEELS.

    1. Amen. He’s going to cry apparently. ;(

  4. This page looks especially gorgeous.

    1. YES!

    2. Thanks! I’m really starting to enjoy this style. It’s a pretty happy medium between the previous ink-heavy style and the painting stuff I was doing earlier in this chapter.

  5. Man wakes up to find he’s nearly died, his love is DEAD and the only thing he has left of her is her son- his son because let’s face it daddy got his head blown off and this man raised him- and his boss is gonna tell him “Sorry we gotta keep him away from you,” its in your own best interest you know.

The Feels. Please author, give Saiamar his boy 🙁

    1. I’m sorry, Kyn. I’m afraid I can’t do that.

  6. Did… did Saiamar just jump out of his wheelchair?

    1. Yep.

      1. OK, so obviously the next page is of Saiamar laying in a limp, boneless heap on the ground in front of his wheelchair.

        1. With the Triarch going “Actually I know about his parents by now. His father is dead, so is his mother. And his aunt is currently being tortured in prison.”

  7. Oh my god, those TREES. And the LIGHTING.
If I get a horrible grade on my capstone project because I’ve been staring at this, it will have been worth it.

    1. DAT ART!
      DAT SETTING!
      DEM FEELS!

      Ohhh yeaaah.

  8. Can I just say that I love Ezius’s outfit. I want it.

    1. I totally agree. Although mostly I just want that spikey-yet-swept-back hair. Mmm.
Miz Rose, you are definitely giving the guy distinct expressions–love the last one. I don’t know who the hell he is, but I already think he’s cool (and he’ll probably do horrible things in the near-future that won’t impact my opinion of him at all).

  9. Just read through the comic, and it’s really good. Both the plot & the artistry are great. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
