  1. Holy cow, a page so soon! šŸ˜€
Itā€™s really nice, too. Loving the splash.

  2. šŸ™ Well this isnā€™t heart-wrenching at all. Jeez, itā€™s like you have no grasp of portraying human emotion.

On a more serious note (since this doesnā€™t have nearly enough gravity), the atmosphere is beautiful. As always. I think this might be one of my favourite pages, composition-wise.

  3. I wonder what Senna told him exactly, though?

  4. A new month on TWC – People, VOTE!

  5. and… Saiamar passes out and drowns.

    1. Well, arenā€™t you a ray of sunshine.

  6. You know, the old art has inspired me to re-read the whole thing again from the beginning!

  7. Is he trying to kill himself?

    1. I guess. He is clearly holding his breath. Iā€™m not entirely sure if heā€™ll go through with it though, itā€™s hard to say what heā€™s going through, exactly. Iā€™m guessing it could just as easily be more a cry for help, an expression of utter despair or hopelessness, something like that.

Even if he actually intends to end his life I doubt he will be able to do it. Drowning yourself is hard, your body will instinctively seek up to the air. Hanging would be far easier if he was going through with it, whereas the water is right there. It might seem like an easy way out of it all, as heā€™s visibly sick out of shock. One thing is clear though – he is feeling pretty damn terrible.

I must say I didnā€™t see this coming. Itā€™s a very powerful page, this one. Bravo.

    2. I think he just fell into the water out of sheer exhaustion. He probably shouldnā€™t be up really.

      1. Ermmm…fell isnā€™t the right term.

“Gave up momentarily”? Does that work? I donā€™t think heā€™s trying to die is my point. Heā€™s just in despair.

    3. I think he stuck his face in the water on purpose, to clear his head, or as an act of exasperation.

      1. Desperation most likely. But I donā€™t think heā€™s giving up. Heā€™s just acting how any male would act knowing you failed to protect your wife. (As much as some women hate it, it is in most menā€™s nature to protect the ones they love, even if they donā€™t need it.)

  8. Itā€™s that bloody courtyard again!

Rose, I thought you promised us new locales!

Also, you broke into the top 100 webcomics again – go you! (and voters!)

    1. Need. Moar. Vote. Bait!

    2. Haha, I lied. SUCKERS.

  9. Oh, gosh, the light in this is beautiful.

  10. Iā€™m not entirely sure of the update schedule anymore. Or is it just kind of a “When itā€™s done, it gets updated” thing? Either one is cool. Iā€™m just curious and slightly confused.

    HAAAALP, Rose!

    1. Whoops, sorry! Iā€™m always aiming to keep on top of the updates, but Iā€™m still fighting the eternal struggle that is building a buffer. This week was a bit wonky unfortunately, but I donā€™t foresee any more interruptions.
