  1. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat is that Galak?

    1. *facepalm* No.

      1. Surprisingly, Adrianna is capable of breaking the nose of people who aren’t Galak.

        1. I think I’m just going to hastily change his hair and hope no one notices what a bad character designer I can be sometimes.

        2. Haha, it looks better now. Also, the lines in Adrianna’s hair are gorgeous!!

        3. Magistrate of Mediocrity

Yeah. She seems to have a thing against people’s noses.

  2. Such a charming girl.

    1. Such wit, such grace.

  3. Looks good! (as always)

And no worries about delaying; love is important! Especially when long-distance SOs are visiting! Have fun!

    1. Thanks! Will do, for sure. 🙂

  4. You’re dedication needs a rest at times, I reckon we all appreciate it but you’re private life is important as well.
The Glasgow kiss looks awesome by the way :p

  5. I love how you’ve done the headbutt here. Awesome sense of pre-action in the middle panel, makes it look like that last panel REALLY hurt.

  6. I approve of the headbutting, probably more effective than punching there. XD

  7. Well, I suppose that we can deal with punching with her head if we must. 😉 Don’t know who that was, but it looks like it HURT!

Have fun hanging out with your boyfriend. The long-distance thing’s a pain. Don’t blame you a whit for putting him above the comic. We can survive with slow/no updates for a couple weeks. Besides, it’d be a good time to do that reread I’ve been meaning to. 🙂

    1. Glad to hear – still working on the buffer, but I suspect I’m not going to have much of anything to show for it. I picked a difficult scene to try and work ahead on, unfortunately. It helps to know I’m not going to get lynched for missing updates, at least. 😉

  8. No! Must make more comics!!

Actually, if I only got to see my boyfriend every six months I’d ditch whatever else I was doing to spend time with him too. Go for it and have fun!

    1. That does seem to be the consensus down here in the comments, which in itself makes me happy to be doing this whole webcomic thing. You guys are the best readers. 🙂

  9. Really impressive work on all fronts. Since you’ve started the comparison: I’d say given the difference in archive size and thus room for character and story develompent so far, this comic is set to sharing a pedestal with the likes of Phoenix Requiem.

    1. Thank you! I’m a big fan of the Phoenix Requiem, so that means a lot to me. 🙂

      1. I like RMR better than the Phoenix Requiem!! I find your characters and art style more appealing. And the humor. Oh, the humor. It’s a good mix of witty and goofy.

  10. My compliments to the most precise visualisation of a successfull headbutt. Well-placed too, since Adrianna manages to hit both, his eyebrow and his nose with that attack, rendering one eye blind for quite a time and the whole dude probably uncapable to see anything because of the pain for the next minutes anyways. Way to go.
Ever considered doing artwork for martial arts textbooks?

    1. Ha! Considering the issues I was being called out on just ten pages ago, I suspect martial arts textbook illustration is not in my future. Cheers, though. 🙂

  11. No prob with hiatus. My current wife and I did the long distance thing for a while until I moved out here to Switzerland. I definitely feel for you both there.

    1. Cheers, man. If only he lived in Switzerland! That would be a much simpler commute to and from the UK compared to New Zealand. Ah well.

      1. Well, I was living in California at the time. 😉
I wish you both health, wisdom, and luck. You’ll need all three 🙂

  12. Adrianna’s head is hard like rocks and marbles. Ka-THOK!

  13. Dang. She’s going to have a large bruise… Hitting people’s faces with your own face *hurts*. Not as much as it hurts them, though. 😀

    1. As long has you make your hard bits impact their soft bits, there shouldn’t be much bruising 😉
It’s when you hit things like teeth that there is a problem. 😉

      1. Teeth do pose a large problem. Anyway, it looks like she caught his browline, which would definitely cause bruising. Bruising, especially on your face, is not the best way to blend in. I should know, I’ve hit things with my head before…

  14. I approve of taking time off to see boyfriends. I’ve been in a long distance relationship for almost a year and a half (we both went to the same college, he graduated first) and I prioritize spending time with him above all else.

  15. Heh! The glasgwegian kiss, on a first date!

The swedes call that a daneskulling. We danes are entirely baffled about that 😉

Even if the squashed nose doesn’t get him, I’d say he’ll have cerebral hemorrhage from that gaze of her’s alone.

  16. Ah good she knows rules 1 and 2 of using that. Rule 1, as with any blow strike Through, not At. Rule 2 hard to soft, front of skull to cartiledge of nose.
